We just finished swim camp today, phew! What a
great opportunity for our little team. Koach Ray set
up for husband/wife team, Katrina and Ross Gerry from
Minnesota, to come down and put on a 4 day camp. Katrina (Radke)
is a former US Olympian, swimming in the 1988 Olympics in
Seoul, Korea. Ross Gerry swam college for Boston U and
has been a coach on the International level. He was on the
coaching staff for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.

After camp on Wed. we boiled at the pool. They were
hesitant, but being good sports, they ate the tasty little guys.
I guess they thought it was too much work for one little bite, so
they headed for the hamburgers.
The girls with Katrina and Ross
during their "scavenger hunt" fund raiser to help with
the cost of the camp. It was well worth it, they learned so much.
They taught them some great strength training, new drills and
gave tips on improving their strokes. They also shared some
great Olympic stories that were very motivational.
